Remind me why I'm doing this?

Sometimes I wonder why Im persuing the jobs that I am. Im not an overly technical person, never have been yet I'm trying to be a web designer, which by its very nature is technical. Especially if you enter the more interactive websites. With help I have managed to create a calculator using Flex, which at this early stage I'm liking, and a simple form. What caused me the most trouble with this site has been the form followed by the calculator. I don't know why the form wasn't working and ended up learning about permissions of files on servers... it's a form, a simple form and it shouldn't be that difficult. Yet, somehow, I managed to make it difficult but it's working now and I have an understanding of how it's set up. I know that the next form I create will cause me just as much trouble as this one.
